In the fall of 2020, I began taking self-portraits to document my changing figure as I carried my baby girl. During these photoshoots, my dog, Birdie, would often try to join in. One day, I decided to have her pose against a pink backdrop, and it struck me that I didn’t have a proper photo of her beautiful face. Inspired by Birdie, I realized I wanted to create beautiful dog portraits that can be cherished for years to come.
